We're looking for mental health and substance use disorder therapists to provide individual and family counseling. 

​

All candidates must have an LSW, LAC, LAMFT, LCSW, LMFT, or LPC, and a minimum of two years experience in the provision of mental health services.

​

Responsibilities Include...

  • Establishing exceptional therapeutic alliance and goal-oriented treatment strategy.

  • Facilitate psychotherapy within the specialized modalities necessary to meet client needs.

  • Demonstrate competency in the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to meet clients’ psychological and social needs.

  • Complete documentation in accordance with TheraCorp policies and State and Federal mandates.

  • Work collaboratively to identify changes in clients’ clinical status and communicate changes to the treatment team, as necessary.
     

Qualifications:

  • New Jersey licensure in good standing: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC), or Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT).

Seeking Pediatric and Adult/Geriatric Psychiatric Prescribers. Immediate caseload! - Nurse Practitioner (NP), Advanced Practice Nurses (APN)

We are seeking exceptional, highly motivated, compassionate, and experienced prescribers to join our outpatient team and provide medication management services. This job can be performed part virtually and part in-person, or entirely in-person - that's up to you!

​

APN or NP Preferred. Minimum of five years experience in the provision of mental health services required. 

​

Responsibilities Include...

  • Establishing exceptional alliance and goal-oriented treatment strategy.

  • Facilitate medication management and monitoring.

  • Conduct mental status examinations and pharmacological evaluations.

  • Demonstrate competency in the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to meet clients’ needs.

  • Work collaboratively to identify changes in clients’ clinical status and communicate changes to the treatment team, as necessary.

PRESCRIBERS
Internships
Internship Opportunities

TheraCorp offers internships for both undergraduate and graduate students pursuing an MA, MS, or MSW degree from schools in New Jersey and New York. 

​​

TheraCorp interns receive:

 

  • Active experience in the mental health field.

  • Group and Individual direct supervision.

  • Attendance at staff meetings.

  • Performance Improvement management, 

  • Training on current trends in behavioral healthcare, DSM diagnosis and coding, CBT, DBT skills, mental status assessment, Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), safety planning and risk assessment, children’s services and case management, domestic violence, cultural diversity and addiction recovery.

  • Flexible hours based on each school’s internship criteria.

 

 

 

For the upcoming school year, TheraCorp has open placements in the following programs:

 

  • Outpatient Mental Health – 2nd year MSW/Advanced placement candidates

  • Addiction Recovery Services- Masters level candidates

  • Intensive Outpatient Program - Masters level candidates
